We are seeking an immediate hire for a Local Yard Hostler to join our IEDS team in Lewiston, ID! This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. As a CDL Driver/Hostler, you will be responsible for moving and spotting trailers within a designated customer site. This is a great opportunity for experienced CDL drivers wanting to earn a competitive wage and enjoy plenty of home time.
Schedule: Day shift, 4 on/4 off rotation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles within the yard and on local routes
- Work jointly with our customers and IEDS’ dispatching services
- Maintain a strong, consistent and reliable attendance record
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving and yard operations
- Assist with yard organization and vehicle movement to optimize workflow
Minimum Qualifications
- Required 2 years’ experience operating commercial vehicles with a CDL-A
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and valid medical card
- No serious or disqualifying traffic violations within the previous 3 years
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance
- Experience in truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver roles preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and maneuvering within the yard
- Good communication skills for coordination with team members and dispatchers
- Excellent interpersonal, written, & reasoning skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
