For your Craigslist consideration today here's a pair of ignition control modules (2) for $10 cash FOB Pomeroy WA.
Used take-outs, from a junkyard run chasing after coil brackets and heat sinks; assumed to be working, but no guarantee implied or given.
Application is for GM full size pickups/suburbans/Tahoes, with the gas V8, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000 model years only.
Take a look at your ignition module, up on top of the engine, on a bracket with the coil, passenger top side; same 4-pin plug? Yep, that's the one!
These ignition modules show the GM OEM logos on them, with painted part numbers as follows:
5996C14
5999G16
Compare with the Standard Motor Products LX381.
One module comes with a splice pigtail connector, if you need it.
Before mounting it up on your ride, remember to freshen up the aluminum heat transfer paste between these modules and the heat sink they bolt onto!
As I can't use this style ICM in my flathead retrofit, these are just extras taking up space on my workbench.
I do wander over to the L/C area from time to time and could bring them along if that helps.
Thanks for looking!
