The Lowrey L2 also known as the Wandering Genie, is a portable home organ from the late 70's. It has colorful light up tone switches, auto accompaniment with an analog drum rhythm. The Wandering Genie was used in the Neutral Milk Hotel album "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea."
The Genie name refers to an auto accompaniment feature (plays bass line/chords in time with a rhythm machine) built into the organ. It has heaps of interesting features such as the genie chords, glide, rhythms, vibrato and more.
One switch makes a slight static sound when moved but it's in excellent condition for its age!
Comes with 1960s Singer seat with brass accents (worth $50), asking $175 obo
