Guan Yin Hermitage offers a quiet, respectful place for individuals to learn meditation and explore Chan (Zen) Buddhist practice in a safe and supportive environment. The Hermitage emphasizes simple, steady practice and mindful daily living.
Sessions are led by Rev. Shi, Chuan Yi (釋傳一), an ordained Chan (Zen) Buddhist priest in the Hui Neng / Hsu Yun lineage. Participants may choose to attend group sessions or one-on-one sessions, according to their preference. All meditation sessions are always free and entirely voluntary. Those interested in a deeper, long-term path may choose to explore membership in the Order, but participation remains completely optional.
In addition to meditation instruction, Rev. Shi, Chuan Yi is available for traditional priestly services, including weddings, funerals, memorials, house blessings, and other ceremonial observances. These services are offered with care, respect, and a focus on meaningful ritual rather than commercial or promotional purposes.
This is not therapy or counseling, but a sincere opportunity to practice meditation, receive guidance, and experience traditional Buddhist observances in a supportive community.
For more information, or to join a meditation session or inquire about priestly services, email or call/text Rev. Shi, Chuan Yi
