We have too many horses
-Chief 12 year old Appaloosa gelding. Broke to ride. He has been my go to horse for several years. Been to lots of play days and won some buckles. Packed flags at rodeos. More go then woah. Rode in the mountains and been packed on. Does best in lead. He has a great rein and stop but he is quick and not for a beginner. I picture a teen girl who needs something quicker and can ride would be a really good fit for him. I need a junior rodeo horse for my daughter who is 7 but he is still a bit much for her and I have 3 colts I am currently riding so he sat most the summer. $6000 but willing to negotiate to the perfect home
-Leo .16 year old grade gelding My cousins horse. He’s been around just about it all. He was a rodeo royalty horse for 2 years, countless grand entries, parades, and traveling. He also packed flags for two years in rodeo and parades. He was my 4H horse for 6 years. He has done every gaming event and I did barrel race on him for a year or so. I focused more on 4H and royalty so never fully committed to gaming, but that’s what he was used for before me. He’s been on multiple trails and does excellent as a leader or follower.
He loads, backs or walks out, hauls good, and stands good. Currently barefoot, have shod before and does fine with either. If used for fast paced work, he would need to be for at least an intermediate and confident rider as he does like to see what he can get away with sometimes. He does get hot around gates if being used for gaming. If used for just basic arena work and on trails, he would be fine for someone with less experience. He’s shorter, about 14.3hh. $6000 obo but negotiable to the perfect home
