1964 Ford 250 with original classic style wood flatbed. Custom ordered without bed from factory, third owner.
Good running pickup, nice steering, runs smooth down the highway.
Original Chrome Yellow Paint Scheme
4 Speed Warner T-98A Manual transmission
Rear wheel drive - 4.88 Axle
Engine - 292 V-8
Manual windows, gauges, and choke all work great.
Cab heater and windshield Defrost both blow hot and work great.
2 side cab air vents for summer time driving.
Brakes stop hard, but have a small leak somewhere. I have to add a little each spring.
Engine runs cool and plenty of compression. Pulls up a grade with ease. Does use a little oil over time, I suspect a little leaking on gaskets. The valleys on the 292 are a pretty high valley to seal apparently.
New tires all the way around, 235/85/16’s. This thing is road ready, no need for a trailer. It’s a classic ready for its next adventure.
People describe these ol' pickups as the Cadillac of the highway, because they really do run nice down the pavement.
Entertaining all reasonable offers, and willing to work with a guy if it’s going to the right place.
