Located near Lewiston, Idaho
Mystic is a fine young gelding ready for new horizons! He’s quiet, easy-going, with a lovely flat-kneed action that would do very well in the ranch riding or show pen. Sleek and athletic enough for the english disciplines as well!
He ties, clips, bathes, hauls with other horses or alone. Great feet, currently barefoot and never needed shoes.
Walk, trot, canters both ways. Left lead takes a couple tries, but we are getting it. Great stops, and rollbacks are starting to come together. Starting to add lateral work and neckreining.
We also trot groundpoles, go over a bridge, and starting to rope, plus drag a log.
He has gone on a handful of trail rides and LOVES it! He’s loped circles outside, been to the river, passed goats/dogs/hikers/bikes, and had vehicles zooming past us. All good with no issues, he’s very sensible and even if he gets a bit nervous, he manages himself well. Rides with other horses, and we are starting to venture out solo.
Currently has 40 (or so) days out of 60 of training. He is still young, but he is setting a high standard. That being said, he will continue to need work and training as he matures, just the same as any young/green horse.
SevenOOO, but will negotiate to the right home.
A great colt with lots of potential, it really matters to the owner (and myself) that he gets a good home.
