First of all, a bit of description of the pictures. The shaggy looking sheep are shedding their winter coats. The Katahdin breed was created in one regard to be a “hair sheep” that sheds it’s winter coat every summer so there is no shearing needed.
So we have 4 Katahdin ewes, 2 with babies. Babies are 1 male and 1 female around 1 month old and are Katahdin x Barbados black belly. Ewes are 1-3 years old. $200 each and pairs are $275.
The ram is a Barbados black belly. I think around 2 yrs. He's called Half Nutz ha. He was improperly banded, but he can successfully breed though. He’s the father of this year’s lambs. He only bred 1/2 of our ewes though, so we're not keeping him. $150
We also have 2 wool sheep. The first is a large Barbados black belly ewe. Unsure of age.. probably around 3-4. The second is a ewe I think 3 yrs. She's a Friesian - Katahdin cross. These 2 have both had babies in the past, but didn't get bred this yr. $200 each.
Or the whole flock of 9 for $1500
They were just dewormed & had their hooves trimmed
