1992 Ford Econoline E250 with 5.8 engine. Tilt, air cruise control and totally reclining bucket seats.
Was used as a state to state light service truck. 95% of the miles put on this truck are highway. Ball joints, U-joints, heater core and rear differential bearings done at 100K miles. The whole interior had been Rhino Lined to quiet down road noise.
It has been left unused for 5 years. Will need battery and fuel system TLC work to get her running again. Put a new exhaust manifold on it but cracked again 10K down the road. It seems to be a common problem with the 5.8 engines. Transmission is OK and goes through all the shift points normally but it's a little weak and will eventually need to be rebuilt. It quiets up once warmed up and driving at 50+ MPH it's barely noticeable. Rides very nice and everything works even the A/C.
Needs to be trailered or towed from where it sits. Again, like I mentioned the EFI fuel system needs to be removed and cleaned along with the fuel filter to get it running again.
