I have a 1978 glass master 17 foot, open bow boat for sale. Mostly just a decent trailer but the boat.goes with it. 115 Johnson two stroke that runs rough and needs a new lower unit. Also needs a new shifter. The boat has leaks that were sort of patched but it still leaks pretty bad. Main fuel tank needs replaced as well. I bought this boat recently and was told it ran good and was ready to go. It wasn't. I'd like to recoup a few bucks. I paid $1000.00 for it and put another couple hundred into new wiring, redid the lights and got everything working then found out the prop seal is shot and it looks like the lower unit needs replaced. It leaks gear lube out around the prop and its all mushroomed out like it spun the bearing and wasn't fixed very well. I've never used the boat since I bought it. I towed it to the river, found out all the issues and towed it back home. I'd say it needs repowered with new cables and shifter but I'm not a boat mechanic. I can send more pictures after it stops raining. I tried to just snap these off of my phone. It has a decent bunk trailer that tows good and I re packed the bearings and got all the lights working properly on it.
