1969 Fiberform ski boat - $4,000 (Lewiston)

boat type: powerboat
propulsion type: power
length overall (LOA): 18
make / manufacturer: Fiberform
year manufactured: 1969
I have a 1969 Fiberform for sale, about 18 feet long. Made in Spokane. Chevy inline 6 mercruiser (about 160 horsepower). No rot anywhere. This is a well-built boat, without metal fasteners or other holes in the fiberglass over the deck. It's an unusual design with two drain plugs, one for the flotation area below the deck. Currently I have a 19 pitch prop on it, which gets it on plane fast for skiers, or slowly if I have 8 people on the boat and three on tubes behind it.

Recent work:
New vinyl over the main seat
New driver's seat
Most wood structures above deck height are new (seat bases, etc), except for the doghouse
New motor mount block (the wood the motor mount bolts to)
New fiberglass over the deck
Engine block and rotating assembly replaced (previous one had a freeze crack)
New tachometer
New fuel tank sender
Recent battery
New coil and points
Bilge pump installed
Recent impeller
Maintenance items (outdrive oil, u-joint grease, etc) are up to date

This is a currently working boat, not a project. I've been using it regularly this season, and all of last season, without any major issues. I intended to do quite a bit more work on it, especially rebuilding the doghouse, but I have a different project boat that I'm planning to finish up later this Summer. The structural part of this boat is done, and it works fine mechanically.

The trailer has new tires, LED lights, winch, and bunks. Bearings were packed within the last year. It also has bearing buddies.

The bimini isn't included, and is really just put together from odd parts, including some from my other boat. But if you want it, I'll throw it in for an extra $100.

Since I do have another boat, I'm not including the various stuff in the pictures (wakeboards, tubing ropes, life jackets, kids, etc). If you're just starting out boating and need a few things to be legal on the water, I can throw in some life jackets or whatnot.

This boat is currently registered and works, so if you're serious about buying it, I can demonstrate it on the water.
