1953 Neon spinner clock. Wood frame was put around it roughly 10 to 20 years after the clock was produced. Has the original synchron clock motor, keeps perfect time. Spinner works great. Original snow white glass tube, original 5.5kv transformer.
Neon Spinner clocks are harder to come by especially this one being 9 inches in diameter.
Measures 9" and glass face is perfect. No cracks on any part. Makers mark ( D.N. 20 )
Found one that’s similar on Ebay selling for $1000 with a broken spinner and other condition issues. Others have sold for over a grand within the last few months This is definitely an interesting piece with the old wood frame around it. Makes it a great display piece. I’m looking to trade for other neon clocks/signs. Other possible cool trades? Show me what you got! :)
Glodials/Cleveland American clock co etc.
