For your Craigslist consideration today here's a lot of four (4) WM Welch bakelite benchtop scientific instruments for $80 cash FOB Pomeroy WA.

Bakelite housings, large analog meter faces, good threaded attachment points for the wiring. Metal bottoms with soft feet.

• DC ammeter,
• AC ammeter,
• Galvanometer,
• DC ammeter.

All meters are untested/ as seen. All needles appear to move freely. Needle on the DC ammeter in the back seems to not zero out.

Add a little geek bling to the Mad Scientist lab, or simply help get a young one interested in electrical fundamentals of science. Heck, throw them on the mantle next to the pic of the family. Do with them as you see fit.

I picked them up planning on using the AC ammeter, only to realize I need 1/10th of the amperage that the scale is set for, and I must have slept through too many of the electrical engineering lectures to remember how to build an amplification device to bump my signal up to the gauge's ability, although millihenrys might be involved.

I do wander over to the L/C area from time to time and could bring them along if that helps.

Thanks for looking!
