Here's a pair of Griswold 712 double burner hot plates, camp stoves.
Both have been media blasted, primed, and high-temp coated four times. Reassembly with brass hardware.
No, they're not identical, although they share Griswold's 712 model number.
A) Has bolt-on GRISWOLD and 712 badges of cast steel (and originally nickel coated, I believe), which have not been blasted nor refinished (the badges), due to their extremely fragile nature (there is a break on the GRISWOLD badge, left hand side). On the main frame, there are no grate or grille risers, unlike it's B) counterpart. Gas is plumbed in from the right side.
B) has only one badge, the front GRISWOLD, and it is intact. On the main frame, raised grille fingers are present. The valves have been cleaned and lubed on this one, and are buttery-smooth. The gas inlet is open to the left of the valves.
Whether put back into service, or simply used for decoration (they make marvelous plant stands), the choice is yours to make.
Thanks for looking!
